Pakistan deaf cricket team gears up for T20 World Cup in UAE

Meraj, and team captain Zaka Ahmed Qureshi expressed their confidence and
aspirations for success in the upcoming tournament. The T20 Deaf World Cup is
scheduled to take place in the UAE from March 6 to 12, featuring teams from
Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Australia.
In a press conference held ahead of their departure for the
T20 Deaf World Cup, Irfan Meraj highlighted the rigorous preparation undertaken
by the national deaf cricket team during their training camp. He emphasized the
hard work put in by the players, reflecting their dedication and commitment to
performing at the highest level.
"I am proud of our team's efforts in the camp. The
players have worked very hard to prepare for the T20 Deaf World Cup,"
stated Irfan Meraj.
Appealing for support and prayers from the entire nation,
Meraj urged the country to rally behind the team in their quest for success on
the global stage. "We seek the prayers and well-wishes of the entire
nation. The support of our country is invaluable, and we hope to make everyone
proud in the T20 Deaf World Cup," he added.
The national deaf cricket team is set to depart for the UAE
on March 4 to compete in the T20 Deaf World Cup. Pakistan's opening match is
scheduled for March 6, where they will face South Africa in a competitive
encounter.
Zaka Ahmed Qureshi will lead the national team as the
captain, with Qamar Naveed serving as the vice-captain. Other players
representing Pakistan in the T20 Deaf World Cup include Manzoor Khan, Faizan
Khan, Adnan Ghani, Mudassar Nazar, Asad Hussain Jatt, Bilal Yousuf, Jabbar Ali,
Basit Abbasi, Rashid Ali Jatt, Adeel Qadir, Bilal Khan, and Ehsanullah.

LAHORE: The Leyton Lions England cricket team has reached
Lahore feature in a number of matches against local teams in a league.
In a joint press conference held by Mohammad Ali Saif, CEO
of Saga Premier League, and Javaid Butt, Chairman of Leyton Lions Cricket Club,
the exciting collaboration between the two entities was officially announced.
The Leyton Lions England Cricket Team's visit to Pakistan is aimed at acclimatizing
young English players to the conditions in Pakistan and fostering a positive
image of the country.
“The primary purpose of Leyton Lions' visit to Pakistan is
to allow England's young cricket talents to acclimatize to the local
conditions, enhancing their adaptability and skill set,” said Javaid.
Mohammad Ali Saif, CEO of Saga Premier League, expressed
optimism about the positive impact of Leyton Lions' visit on the overall
cricketing landscape in Pakistan. The collaboration is expected to contribute
to the growth and development of the sport within the country.
Saif emphasized that as a Pakistani, it is his duty to
