PHF extends best wishes to junior
team for World Cup
The Secretary General of
the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), Olympian Rana Mujahid Ali, has expressed
good wishes to the players selected for the upcoming Junior Hockey World Cup to
be played in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In a statement, Rana Mujahid Ali
commended the junior players' hard work and dedication during the ongoing
training camp at the National Hockey Stadium in Lahore. He emphasized that the
team selection was made based on careful consideration by the PHF Selection
Committee, in consultation with the team management and the approval of the PHF
President.
"We believe that the players
will perform in the event with great effort," stated Rana Mujahid Ali. He
expressed confidence that the players will benefit from the experience of Head
Coach Roelant Oltmans and the coaching staff, and will not disappoint the
nation.
He urged the entire nation to
pray for the players and offer them encouragement, highlighting the belief that
these junior players will bring pride and glory to the country and the nation
in the future.
The Junior Hockey World Cup will
be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from December 5th to 16th. Pakistan will
face Netherlands in their opening match on December 6th.
