PCB unveils National T20 Super 8 schedule and prize money

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the much-anticipated schedule for the Super 8 stage of the National T20, along with the prize money for the tournament and individual awards.

The Super 8 stage, which will feature the top eight teams from the group stage, will commence on December 1st and continue until December 8th. The matches will be played in a round-robin format, with each team facing the other seven teams once.

Following the conclusion of the Super 8 stage, the top four teams will advance to the semi-finals, scheduled for December 9th at the National Bank Stadium. The tournament's grand finale will take place on December 10th at the same venue.

The PCB has also revealed the enticing prize money for the tournament. The winners of the National T20 will walk away with a hefty PKR 5 million, while the runners-up will be rewarded with PKR 2.5 million.

Individual awards will also be up for grabs, with the Player of the Tournament, Best Batter, Best Bowler, and Best Wicket-Keeper each receiving PKR 250,000. Additionally, the man of the match in the final will be awarded PKR 50,000.

An official of the PCB stated: “In a bid to promote domestic cricket and encourage Pakistani players to participate in local tournaments, the PCB has urged players who are not involved in international series to prioritize the National T20 and other domestic leagues over foreign leagues.
