The Lahore Race Club is all set for an electrifying Sunday as the 10th Day Summer Meeting – 2025 brings together seven competitive races, headlined by three prestigious cups — the Kashmir Cup, the Jashn-e-Azadi Cup, and the Independence Day Cup. Alongside these showpiece events, four exciting Sawat Plates will set the pace for a day packed with racing action.

The afternoon will open with the Sawat Plate, Class-VII and Division-VI&VII, at 5:00 PM. All eyes will be on Leo Star, the clear favourite, while Thunder Cloud (Krc) is tipped for the place position. Rashid Prince could spring a surprise as the fluke runner. Other contenders in the field include Amigo, Gul-e-Kashmir, Raftar, I Shall Lead, and Thunder Prince (Krc).

The second race, the Kashmir Cup, will see Class-VII and Division-VI runners alongside maiden horses from Division-VII. Awais Prince heads the betting charts as the favourite, with Advocate expected to secure the place position, while Victory Bul Bul stands out as the fluke chance. SG Princess, King Asia, Good Boy, Daisy Macs, Thunder Lady, and Dubai Love complete a competitive line-up.

Race three will be the Sawat Plate for Class-VII and Division-IV, where Black Fire has been installed as the favourite. Taj Mahal is fancied for the place spot, while Generosity could upset the odds as the fluke entry. The remaining challengers include Haseeb Thunder, Daddy Cool, and Nawab Prince.

In the fourth race, the Sawat Plate for Class-VII and Division-III, Sehar is the horse to beat. Desert Parri looks good for the place, while Thunder Boy (Krc) could surprise as the fluke. The race also features Tahira, Song Bird, National Colour, and Absolutely Not.

The Jashn-e-Azadi Cup, the fifth race of the day, will showcase Class-VII and Division-I&II runners. Daaku enters as the favourite, with Elizabeth a strong place contender and Brigadier tipped as the fluke. Other participants include Son of Sultan, Golden Heart, Luckvir, Al Shouq, Yesteryear, Flash, and Dubai’s Angel.

The sixth race, the Independence Day Cup, features Class-VI and Division-II&III runners. Caesar is the clear favourite, followed by Luna Afzaal for the place position, while Wynx is the fluke selection. Brooklyn and Redrock will also be in the mix for honours.

The curtain will fall on the day with the final race — the Sawat Plate for Class-VII and Division-V&VI. Zindagi leads the favourites, with Multani Babu considered for the place and Zaman Sahib eyed as the fluke threat. Yes Commander, Mr Asia, Macs, Haseeb Thrill, Jalal Prince, and Thunder Man (Krc) round out the field for what promises to be a thrilling finale.

With a blend of top favourites, solid place prospects, and unpredictable fluke runners, the 10th Day Summer Meeting is poised to deliver an afternoon of intense competition and memorable finishes at the Lahore Race Club.
