54th Senior National Volleyball Championship kicks off
Punjab, WAPDA, and KP Secure Victories on Opening Day
The 54th Senior National Volleyball
Championship, organized under the auspices of the Pakistan Volleyball
Federation, has commenced in Wah Cantt. The opening day witnessed three
matches, with Punjab, WAPDA, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) securing victories
against their respective opponents.
The opening ceremony of the championship was graced by
the chief guest, General Shafiq Ahmed, Member POF Board. High officials of the
Pakistan Volleyball Federation were also present on the occasion.
The first match of the day was played between Punjab and
Balochistan. Punjab dominated the match, securing a comfortable 3-0 set victory
with scores of 25-11, 25-16, and 25-7.
In the second match, WAPDA faced off against Azad Jammu
and Kashmir (AJK) and also registered a convincing 3-0 victory. WAPDA's winning
scores were 25-13, 25-12, and 25-13.
The third match saw Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) secure an
easy win against Gilgit-Baltistan. KP emerged victorious with a 3-0 scoreline,
with set scores of 25-9, 25-9, and 25-13.
