LRC gear up for Labour Day Cup and Native Tune Cup

The Lahore Race Club is
all set to host the Labour Day Cup and Native Tune Cup alongside four thrilling
Dear Creek Plates as part of its 35th day winter meeting 2024-24 on Sunday.
With each plate race carrying its own significance, the two featured cup races
will see seven and nine contenders, stretching their legs over 1100 and 1000
meters, respectively.
With anticipation running high,
racing enthusiasts eagerly await the exhilarating contests set to unfold at the
Lahore Race Club's Labour Day Cup and Native Tune Cup.
The day's festivities
kick off with the Dear Creek Plate featuring Class-VII and Division-VII horses.
Among the 10 participants, Shah Prince is favored for the win, with Apache
expected to secure a place. However, Lalay De Jan might spring a surprise, with
other contenders including Sultana, Ubbi, Flash Fire, Tatla Choice, Chhota Don,
Malik Prince, and Galileo Lady.
In the subsequent
Class-VII and Division-V&VI race, 11 competitors will vie for victory. Luckvir
emerges as the favorite for the win, with Fame Again and Niazi Princess eyeing
a place. The field also features Sultan Jahaniya, Abdullah Champion, Super
Power, Absolutely Not, Khizer Choice, Flokey, Amigo, and Top Secret.
The third race,
featuring Class-VII and Division-II&III horses, sees seven maiden runners
in contention. Dominus is tipped as the frontrunner, followed by Public Star
for a place, while Tahira could surprise. Other participants include Treasure
Trip, M.S.Spirit, Tatla Rule, and Beautiful Baby.
The highlight of the
day, the Labour Day Cup, is a Class-VI race where Murad is anticipated for
victory, with Redrock and Spartacus as contenders for a place. The race also
features Leisure Trip, Manat, Samson, and Notorious One.
Moving on to the Native
Tune Cup, the fifth race of the day, Prodigal Rain leads as the favorite, with
Shaman likely to secure a place and Echelon expected to surprise. The field
also includes Naymar, Shakira, Sehar, Hizar, Desert Crown, and Deedavar.
In the final race of the
day, featuring seven participants, Casper is poised to lead the pack, with
Timeline expected to secure a place. However, a surprise contender may emerge
in Mufasa, while other challengers include Kuwait Edition, Shining Moon,
Generosity, and Yes Commander.
