The thundering sound of galloping hooves will once again echo through the Lahore Race Club as the 5th Day of the Summer Meeting 2025 takes off on Monday, July 7.

With six thrilling races, all under the Sawat Plate banner and contested over 1000 metres, fans are in for a high-adrenaline evening of competitive racing.

Each race falls under the Class-VII category, showcasing a blend of rising talent, seasoned performers, and a few dark horses that just might surprise.

Race 1 – Class-VII, Division VI & VII

The first race features a full 10-horse field. King Asia is carrying the weight of expectations as the favourite, while Flokey could pose a serious challenge. Keep an eye on Abdullah Love, a potential surprise package.

Also running: My Luck, Daisy Macs, Bill Gates, Thunder Lady, Gul-e-Kashmir, Thunder Prince (KRC), Gifts of Gold

Race 2 – Class-VII, Division VI & VII

In the second event, all signs point to Sargana Choice leading the way. However, Thunder Man (KRC) might push for a strong finish, while Usman’s Love could stir the pot with an unexpected performance.

Other entries: Classic Mystery, Malik Choice, Thunder Cloud (KRC), I Shall Lead, Star Crown

Race 3 – Class-VII, Division IV & V

Absolutely Not heads into this race as the clear favourite, backed by solid recent form. Zaman Sahib is expected to place, but the wild card here might be Sky Warrior, who could disrupt the pecking order.

Others include: Agha Prince, Daddy Cool, Azaad

Race 4 – Class-VII, Division I & II

This race promises to be one of the more closely contested of the evening. Set In Stone is the front-runner on paper, but Desert Parri is making a strong case for a podium finish. Samore City remains the unpredictable element here.

Rest of the field: Nisha, Feel My Love, Vartika, Sehar

Race 5 – Class-VII, Division II & III

With only six horses in this race, Son of Sultan has a golden opportunity to take the win. Yesteryear might settle for second, while Daaku could sneak in for a surprise finish.

Also featuring: Brigadier, Luckvir, Taj Mahal

Race 6 – Class-VII, Division V & VI

The finale of the evening carries a good mix of talent and unpredictability. Dill Lagi is the favourite to seal the day, with Mr. Asia expected to place. However, Monsoon Mischief could spoil the party if the stars align.

Other runners: Macs, Rashid Prince, Mafnood JR, Noon Princess, Leo Star

With a wide array of competitors and a number of surprise possibilities in each race, the 5th day of the Summer Meeting promises not just competition but also high drama. Whether you're following your favourite horse or just enjoying the sport, Monday evening at the Lahore Race Club is shaping up to be a treat for racing fans.
