The thrill of horse racing returns this Sunday evening as the 6th Day of the Lahore Summer Meeting 2025 promises a packed schedule at the Lahore Race Club. With five sprint races, all titled Jehlum Plate and each spanning 900 meters, fans of equine sports are in for an adrenaline-fueled evening.

What makes this race day particularly exciting is the even spread of favourites, dark horses, and surprise packages across the card. Each race features Class VII thoroughbreds split into their respective divisions, ensuring a level playing field—but also making the outcome all the more unpredictable.

Race 1 – The Opener

The day kicks off with a lively contest where Thunder Man (KRC) enters as the favourite, having shown impressive recent form. King Asia is expected to push hard, while Sargana Choice could throw in a surprise. Keep an eye on Shahan Shah, Star Crown, My Luck, Abdullah Love, Thunder Prince (KRC), and American Star—each of whom is capable of grabbing the spotlight on the right day.

Race 2 – Battle of speedsters

Noon Princess has been generating buzz as the one to beat. Bill Gates should be good for a place finish, while Leo Star is being whispered about as a potential game-changer. Other runners include Mr. Asia, Monsoon Mischief, Smart Fighter, Thunder Cloud (KRC), and I Shall Lead, all bringing different strengths to the field.

Race 3 – Mid-card drama

This is one to watch! Black Fire appears to be the top choice here, but Zaman Sahib is not far behind in form and spirit. Sky Warrior could break the mold with an unexpected dash, and there’s still room for upsets from Macs, Azaad, Latin Storm, and Rashid Prince.

Race 4 – Late evening clash

Mera Gondal leads this Class VII Division III & IV field, but Thunder Boy (KRC) is getting plenty of nods as a solid runner-up option. Don’t count out Absolutely Not, who, despite inconsistency, has pulled off surprises before. National Colour, Taj Mahal, Debate Princess, and Great One round out this strong and open race.

Race 5 – Closing sprint

The evening wraps up with a tight contest where Brigadier seems to have the edge. Son of Sultan should finish strong, while Dubawi’s Angel could steal the show if it finds rhythm early. Other contenders include Black Master and Sehar, ready to pounce if others falter.

All five races are short sprints, meaning the start and early acceleration will be everything. With a healthy mix of favourites and potential spoilers, Sunday’s racing is poised to offer drama, speed, and plenty of surprises. As per Lahore Race Club regulations, all events will be held strictly without betting or wagering, and final declarations are due by 4:30 PM on race day.

So, whether you’re a racing enthusiast or just love the thrill of the track, the 6th Day Summer Meeting is a must-watch. Don’t miss out on this action-packed evening at Lahore Race Club!
