The Lahore Race Club's 25th day winter meeting 2024-25 promises an exciting day of horse racing with the prestigious Faiz Ahmad Faiz Cup and the Sher Garh Cup taking center stage, alongside four thrilling Sohna Plate races.

In the opening Sohna Plate, a lineup of 13 Class-VII and Division-VI&VII horses will compete. The favorite is Rayaan Prince, with Gifts of Gold and Jahanbaz also expected to perform well. The field includes Haseeb Thrill, Jawad Love, Shahn Shah, Abdullah Champion, Tango To Fire, Maze, Al Karam, Serenity, Ok Queen, and Deep Impact.

The second race, featuring Class-VII and Division-V&VI horses, has 12 participants. Twinkle is the favorite, with Rutba and Mafnood JR anticipated to provide tough competition. Other contenders are Emerging Star, Mumraiz Love, Annie Power, Monsoon Mischief, Thunder Prince (KRC), Awan Di Shan, Sky Warrior, and Raftar.

The Faiz Ahmad Faiz Cup, a race for Class-VI&VII and Division-I&IV horses, will likely see Feel My Love taking the win. Olympus is another strong contender, while Haider Prince could surprise the field. The race also includes Me Raqsam, Phantom, Flight Line, and Sarkar Raj.

The Sher Garh Cup, featuring Class-VII and Division-II horses, has Winx as the top bet, with Khokhar One as its closest rival. Sultan Prince is expected to be a surprise contender. The race also features Western Lady, Golden Heart, Mehrab Prince (KRC), Dangerous Intention (KRC), Sardar Bey, Hero, Persian Pleasure, Dubawi's Angel, and Black Rose.

The fifth race of the day includes nine Class-VII and Division-IV&V horses. Zaman Sahib is the favorite to win, with Shareeka and Tully Princess as strong competitors. The field also has Challa Queen, Thunder Man (KRC), Bright Bomber, Zaid Prince, Pocket Power, and Jashn-e-Baharan.

The final race, featuring 15 Class-VII and Division-II&III horses, has Gabriela as the favorite, with Big Dream and Vitoria expected to perform well. The lineup includes Thunder Princess (KRC), Qalandar, Parlay For Two, Zindabaad, Gondal One, Rock N Wild (KRC), Nawab Prince (KRC), Jupiter, New York City, Husn-e-Baharan, Thunder Boy (KRC), and Kuwait Edition.

Today's races are set to provide an exhilarating day of competition and excitement for horse racing enthusiasts at the Lahore Race Club.
