The Lahore Race Club (LRC) is set to host its 24th winter meeting today (Sunday), featuring an action-packed card of eight races headlined by the prestigious Kashmir Day Cup and Yasoob Again Cup. Both marquee events will test competitors over a challenging 1200-metre distance.

The Kashmir Day Cup, a term race exclusively for three-year-olds, has attracted a select field of seven contenders. Prince William (KRC) enters as the clear favorite, with Ronaq expected to mount a serious challenge for second place. Dark horse Gold Finder could potentially upset the established order, while Golden Heart, Hero, Jupiter, and Moshi Queen round out a competitive field.

The Yasoob Again Cup, a Class-VI category race, has drawn an impressive field of 16 runners. Brooklyn has emerged as the pre-race favorite, with Dila Awaiz positioned as the strongest challenger. Macs King carries upset potential, while accomplished runners Thunder Star (KRC), Royal Salute, Quality Street, Farhan Prince, and Phantom add depth to an already stellar lineup.

The day's program kicks off with the Theek Hai Plate, featuring an intriguing battle between favorite Rayaan Prince and strong contender Gifts of Gold. Jhanbaz lurks as a potential spoiler in a field that includes nine talented runners which are Talent, Bill Gates, Zahid Princess, Maze Chika Rika, Queen of Sodiwal, Haider Choice, and Abdullah Champion.

The second race of the day showcases eleven competitors in a Class-VII Division-V&VI contest, with Awan Di Shan leading pre-race predictions with Rutba expected to secure the place position. Tully Princess is predicted to provide a surprise challenge. Remaining field also has Sky Warrior, Annie Power, Mafnood JR, Mumraiz Love, Rutba, Haseeb Thrill, Raftar, Bilal Prince, and Jawad Love.

The third race presents another full field, where Luckvir stands out among thirteen contestants, with Vartika likely to take the place. Putin could spring a surprise from a remaining field of Thunder Man (KRC), Black Bird, Apple of My Eye, Absolutely Not, Falco, Jashn-e-Baharan, Blazing Fire, Monsoon Mischief, Zarbi, and Zaman Sahib.

The latter half of the card maintains the day's competitive spirit, with the sixth race featuring nine runners led by Love Love, while the seventh race sees Shakira favored in a field of thirteen. The day concludes with an expansive field in the eighth race, where Winx leads the betting in a challenging Class VII Division-II&III contest.

The sixth Class-VII and Division-I&II race has nine participants where Love Love is the front-runner, with Luna Afzaal predicted to secure a place and Feel My Love has the capability of springing a surprise. Challenge is also expected from Haider Prince, Thunder Princess (KRC), Khokhar One, Dangerous Intention (KRC) ,  Moni Prince and Cinderella's Dream.

In the seventh Class VII and Division-II race, Shakira is the favorite, Dubawi's Angel, expected to secure a place, and Wonder Woman (KRC) a potential dark horse. The field also has Thunder Boy (Krc), Haseeb Thunder, Persian Pleasure, Sultan Prince, Zindabaad, Flash, New York City, Royal Guest, Taj Mahal,  and Kit Kat.

In the final Class VII and Division-II&III event, Winx is the favorite, Wonder Woman (KRC) is likely to secure a place, and Generosity may spring a surprise. Competition may also come from Nawab Prince (KRC), Debate Princess, Black Magic, Parlay For Two , Rock N Wild (Krc) , Generosity, Husn-e-Baharan, Handsome, Vitoria, Great One, Kuwait Edition, and Challa Queen. 

Post time for the first race is scheduled for today (Sunday), with racing enthusiasts anticipated to gather at the historic Lahore Race Club for what promises to be an exceptional day of thoroughbred racing.
