The Lahore Race Club witnessed an exhilarating day of racing on Sunday, where Brooklyn and Luna Afzaal claimed top honors in the marquee events of the 22nd Winter Meeting 2024-25. The day was filled with unexpected twists and thrilling performances that kept racing enthusiasts on the edge of their seats.

Brooklyn, as anticipated, triumphed in the Thrill Cup, leaving the competition behind with a powerful finish. Mighty Macs exceeded expectations by securing second place, while Macs King, running on fluke, settled for third.

In the Syed Tasvir Hussain Memorial Cup, it was Luna Afzaal who emerged as a surprise winner, holding her lead under immense pressure. Qismat glittered with a commendable second-place finish, while Gabriella delivered an unexpected third-place performance.

The opening race set the tone for the day as Sakhi, an underdog, clinched victory. Queen of Sodiwal also surprised by finishing second, while pre-race favorite Drago managed only third.

The second race saw Zaman Sahib galloping to a well-deserved win, meeting expectations. Putin took second place with an impressive run, while Awan De Shan, despite being a fluke, secured third place.

Brooklyn dominated the Thrill Cup, showcasing exceptional pace to cross the wire first. Mighty Macs surprised with a strong second-place finish, while Macs King completed the podium.
