PCB reveals players' monthly salaries for increased transparency

Following
recent questions surrounding the Pakistan Cricket Team’s performance and their
pockets, the PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) has made their national squad
members' monthly salaries public. The breakdown of the newly announced figures
show the players monthly pays apart from the sponsorship perks.
Salary Categories
and Amounts:
Category A (Rs.
4,500,000 per month): Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan
Category B (Rs.
3,000,000 per month): Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah
Category C (Rs.
750,000 to Rs. 1,500,000 per month): Imad Wasim (as an example)
Category D (Rs.
750,000 to Rs. 1,500,000 per month): Iftikhar Ahmed, Hasan Ali, Saim Ayub (as
examples)
Significant
Salary Increases:
The PCB
implemented substantial pay raises across all categories.
Category A
players received a remarkable 200% increase.
Category B saw a
significant 144% hike.
Players in
Categories C and D also enjoyed notable increases of 135% and 127%,
respectively.
