LRC gears up for exciting 4th day of summer meeting on Sunday

The Lahore Race Club is set to host an action-packed 4th day
of their Summer Meeting this Sunday with two prestigious cup events and three
Kot Lakhpat plate races.
Main Events:
Monsoon Cup (Class VII, Division VI&VII): Seven horses
will vie for glory in this maiden race. Tango To Fire is the early favorite,
followed by AI Karam and Gujjar Queen as a potential dark horse.
Punjab Cup (Class VII, Division II&III): This
high-profile race promises a tough competition with eight participants.
Fujairah is heavily favored, with Moni Prince a contender for second place.
Paddington and others like Lady Champion, Fairy World, and Emerging Star could
provide some surprises.
Kot Lakhpat Plate Races (All 900 meters except Race 3):
Race 1 (Class VII, Division VI&VII): Salaar is the
favorite, with Pocket Power a potential challenger and Capital City a possible
surprise.
Race 3 (Class VI): Royal Salute is expected to take the
lead, with Leisure Trip a close competitor and National Colour a wildcard.
Race 5 (Class VII, Division V&VI): Jalpana Prince holds
the advantage, but Tully Princess or Zaman Sahib could cause an upset. Pride of
Chandrai and Dil Nasheen are also contenders.
Race Distances:
All races are set for a 900-meter distance except for the
third Kot Lakhpat Plate race (Class VI) which will cover 1,100 meters.
