LAHORE: The Olympic Solidarity WABC Level-I Basketball Coaching Course commenced today at Government College University Lahore, organized under the auspices of the Pakistan Basketball Federation (PBF). Led by FIBA Coaching Instructor Mr. Milan Kotarac from Serbia, the six-day coaching course aims to provide comprehensive theoretical and practical insights to fifteen coaches, including both male and female participants.

Instructor and Facilitation: Mr. Milan Kotarac, an experienced FIBA Coaching Instructor, has been entrusted with leading the course, scheduled from December 11 to 16, 2023. The program will feature morning and evening sessions, offering participants a well-rounded learning experience. The coaching team includes Mr. Ouj-e-Zahoor, Associate Secretary PBBF, Mr. M Sami as Course Coordinator, and Mr. Muhammad Riaz Malik, Head Coach of the Pakistan Basketball Team.

Importance of Rule Updates: Mr. Khalid Bashir, Secretary General of the PBF, emphasized the significance of staying updated on the latest rules in basketball. Recognizing the crucial role of the coaching community, he highlighted their contribution to the growth and development of basketball in Pakistan. The coaching course will cover the latest rules, aligning participants' knowledge with guidelines issued by FIBA.
