There were upsets witnessed in all the top four positions of the races with favourites slipping to either second or third places or were pushed out of the top three here at Lahore Race Club on Sunday.

However, the entire day’s venture kept the followers of the game on their toes with pundits ruing their predictions.  

Fakhar-e-Sahi began the activity at the LRC with a big upset of the day by taking the paddock by surprise while Maze which was expected to give s surprise became second and Abdullah Love, which was expected to take the place was third.

In the second race, Agha Prince from nowhere galloped to the top winning ahead of Silent Melody, which too produced an astonishing run. Similarly, Super Power also surprised the pundits by taking third place.

In the third and featured race, Speed Of Fire, which was on fluke had an endurance of win while favourite Nazma Queen finished second. Lady Champion, however, gave another surprise of the race by settling for third position.

Even in the final race of the day, Stardom, which was not even close among the favourites, turned out to be the winner. A similar performance was given by Self Belief for second place and Absolutely Not which was on a fluke managed to have the third position.
