3rd day LRC Summer Meeting 2026 predictions

3rd Day — Lahore Summer Meeting 2026

Sunday, 28th June 2026  |  5 Races  | First Race 7:00 PM

All five races over 1000m — the full distance returns after last week's sprint card.

Race 1 · 7:00 PM Class VII Div V & VII — 1000m

Field of 11

Book Fav Zindagi

Book Place Xena

Book Fluke Naveed-e-Sahar

My Fav Naveed-e-Sahar

My Place Dogar Choice

My Fluke Bilal One

My reasoning

Naveed-e-Sahar (9-0) carries the outright top weight in an eleven-horse field — the book calls it the Fluke  while naming Zindagi (8-10) as Fav ourite. That is a 4-pound concession from the book's Fav ourite to the top weight over 1000m. Naveed-e-Sahar shared joint top weight with Bilal One on Day 2 and ran unPlace d, but the handicapper has retained its 9-0 allocation — a clear signal of continued confidence. My Fav ourite is Naveed-e-Sahar. Dogar Choice (8-11) is the second highest weight in the field at a single pound below top — a horse just off the peak weight in an eleven-runner field is the classic Place  profile. My Place . Bilal One (8-10) won the 38th day maiden from the bottom of the weights and has been competitive since; at 8-10 now in a mixed division, its natural pace over 1000m makes it my Fluke . The book's Place  pick of Eena does not appear in the declared field — likely a non-runner or clerical entry.

Book Fav Lucky Macs

Book Place Tiger of Sultan

Book Fluke Fakhar-e-Sardar

My Fav Fakhar-e-Sardar

My Place Babbar Sher

My Fluke Lucky Macs

My reasoning

This is the race of the card analytically and the argument is now beyond dispute. Fakhar-e-Sardar (9-0) carries the outright top weight — 2 pounds ahead of Babbar Sher and Lucky Macs at 8-12. The book calls it a Fluke  for what must be the fifth or sixth time this season. The cumulative form record demands it be backed as Fav ourite: second on Day 1 of the Summer Meeting, second and third repeatedly across the Winter Meeting, always carrying top weight, always finishing in the frame. At 9-0 over 1000m in a seven-horse Division V & VI field, this horse is the class act and my Fav ourite with full conviction. Babbar Sher (8-12) won Race 2 on Day 2 of the Summer Meeting outright — a recent winner in this exact division at joint second weight is the natural Place  selection. Lucky Macs shares 8-12 and is the book's Fav ourite — it drops to my Fluke ; the form is there but the weight disadvantage to Fakhar-e-Sardar makes winning difficult.

Field of 5

Book Fav Tomorrowland

Book Place Nisha

Book Fluke Feel My Love

My Fav Nisha

My Place Feel My Love

My Fluke Tomorrowland

My reasoning

Race 3 is a five-horse Class VI event and the weight structure tells a clear story. Nisha (9-0) carries the outright top weight — 6 pounds ahead of Feel My Love (8-6) and 8 pounds ahead of the book's Fav ourite Tomorrowland (8-4). On Day 1 of the Summer Meeting, Nisha ran second in this exact company at 8-12, beaten only by Tomorrowland as a Fluke  winner. The handicapper has now elevated Nisha to 9-0 in response to that near-miss — a strong signal of confidence. My Fav ourite is Nisha. The book makes Tomorrowland Fav ourite despite it having won from the Fluke  position last time and now facing a revised weight structure with Nisha carrying 9-0. Feel My Love (8-6) is my Place  — consistent performer at this level and the book's Fluke  designation understates its quality. Tomorrowland drops to my Fluke ; its Day 1 win is real but the weights have responded and Nisha now carries the authority.

Book Fav Amanah One

Book Place Dawood Prince

Book Fluke Moni Ki Chahat

My Fav Amanah One

My Place Moni Ki Chahat

My Fluke Dawood Prince

My reasoning

Amanah One (8-10) carries the outright top weight in a six-horse Division I & II field — the book agrees on this as Fav ourite and so do I. The horse won Race 3 on Day 1 of the Summer Meeting from the book's Fluke  position and now returns as the recognised class act of this division. Full agreement on the Fav ourite. The divergence is in the Place : the book selects Dawood Prince (8-0) while Moni Ki Chahat (8-0) carries the same weight. Moni Ki Chahat has been competitive in Division I & II throughout the season — it Place d in multiple Winter Meeting appearances and is entirely overlooked. My Place  is Moni Ki Chahat. Dawood Prince drops to my Fluke  — it won Race 4 on the 40th day outright from the top weight position and retains quality, but here concedes 10 pounds to Amanah One.

Book Fav Falco

Book Place Safe Bet

Book Fluke Construct Craft

My Fav Falco

My Place Construct Craft

My Fluke Emerging Star

My reasoning

Falco (8-10) carries the outright top weight in this six-horse Division III & IV closer and the book is correct to name it favourite — full agreement. Falco won Race 4 on the 37th day, ran third in Race 4 on the 2nd Summer day from the top weight position, and now returns again at 8-10. The consistency of top weight allocation and in-frame finishes makes it a reliable selection. The divergence is in the place: Construct Craft (8-4) has been consistently one of the most reliable horses of the entire meeting — winning Race 3 on the 38th day, winning Race 5 on Day 2 of the Summer Meeting. The book designates it as the fluke; I promote it to place over Safe Bet (7-12). Safe Bet concedes 10 pounds to Falco over 1000m — a significant ask at this division level. Emerging Star (7-12) shares Safe Bet's weight but won Race 4 on the 36th day outright from the book's fluke position — that winning pedigree makes it my fluke.
